The Ser Pro project held its first national conference last April 19, in Vila Nova de Gaia. The event brought together around 100 vocational training students from Maia, Porto and Lisbon, who are part of the Ser Pro network. Throughout the day, the students were invited to take part in a series of lectures, workshops, and other activities with national and multinational tech companies established in Portugal.
These students were able to discuss some of the most pressing issues in their fields of study – which encompassed tech-related fields, such as electronics, automation, and programming. The educational part of the event was complemented by interaction activities between the students themselves, which also allowed them to contact and share experiences and knowledge with their peers from other schools, attending similar courses.
